May 2, 2008 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tournament . Association of Volleyball Professionals is a US Tour of top volleyball players in US. On the beach sand volleyball play makes for an exciting, outdoor game and venue. Other stops on the tour may include Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Long Beach and San Francisco (check avp.com for updates.) Vendors will sell everything from volleyballs to sporting goods and clothing. Often there are free handouts, and celebrity volleyball autograph opportunities. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
