May 4, 2007  Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in conjunction with the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling unique, hand made gifts and crafts. Call: (714) 536-2213 or (714) 846-5509. May 4, 2007  Play - Frances Hodgson Burnett’s Tony Award winning musical is about Mary Lennox, an orphaned girl who lost her parents in an earthquake in India. Sent to England to live with her embittered uncle who lost his wife and has never recovered, Mary roams the Yorkshire manor alone. Finding an overgrown secret garden, the favorite of her aunt and locked up since her death, Mary and a new friend bring the garden back to life. Sickly bed-riddent cousin, Colin, is enticed to leave his bed and see the garden. It's a decision that impacts and changes the lives of all involved. Directed by Martie Ramm and performed by students of Golden West College. Location: Golden West College, 15744 Golden West Street, Huntington Beach, California  92647.
