August 1, 2008 New exhibition- Surfing Sounds Part II: Jan & Dean. This new exhibit explores the relationship and affect surfing music has on the surfing culture and pop culture, as well. It will feature original art by Huntington Beach resident, Dean Torrenceof Jan & Dean, and will include memorabilia from the band's decade-long rise to fame with songs that topped the charts with 28 hits: Deadman's Curve, Little Old Lady from Pasadena, Surf City and that actually continues today with concert tours.
