Huntington Beach, California
Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum Presents:
Surfin' Sundays 10th Anniversary Celebration Season
We invite you to help us celebrate 10 years of
great music from dedicated musicians who donate their precious time in
support of the museum. This year's lineup includes many traditional
favorites as well as some vibrant newcomers. We are blessed to have bands
from all over California and from as away as Michigan and Oregon. This
is our eighth concert for the season with all previous events being well
received by the crowd. This Sunday we have two new bands performing in
the museum parking lot.
Date: Sunday June 25th, 2006
Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Admission: Concert is free
Location: Museum parking lot at 411 Olive Ave., HB
Phone: 714-960-3483
First Band: Pacific Headhunters
The Pacific Headhunters come highly recommended by musician and friend of
the museum Adrien Anthony, drummer for CHUM.
Twins Travis & Marcus Barton cinched the deal when they gave the museum band
promoter a dynamite CD to listen to and the rest is history in the making.
Second Band: Brian Jay & The Rockin Jesters came to us at the Pacific
Shoreline Marathon back in February.
Brian Jay’s band is an acoustic group playing rock-a-billy folk music with a
surf twist. The PSM runners loved them and want them back next year.
Check out our website for the season schedule and additional band
information.
