INSECT SURFERS
Influences of Dick Dale and Link Wray filtered thru psychedelia and punk
rock produce invigorating music, regrouped by LA surfer David Arnson after
moving from Wash. DC in 85.
THE ELIMINATORS
Longboard surfers from Orange County bring back authentic 60’s surf bands
sounds by capturing a piece of the past, mixing in a saxophone to create
exotic music.
MiGs
Voted LA’s hottest instrumental band, a full-tilt surf-influenced
instrumental trio mixing in many genre to create a dynamic sound, founded in
1999 by LA surfer Bernard Yin.
SURF KINGS
Oceanside based progressive surf/rock band is the creation of Tom Stanton,
one of the few remaining 1st wave guitar players of the early 60’s. Deemed
“Powerful as a tsunami…gentle as an ocean breeze.”
DYNOTONES
From Orange a four piece surf/hot rod combo known for high-energy
performances and nostalgic sounds of the past to earn them a place amongst
the successful bands.
Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum invites you to attend the next
Surfin' Sundays concert series. This is a one time special with hula girls
dancing to authentic Hawaiian music from 10:00 Am to 10:30 Am.
Time: Bands play 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Don’t forget to bring chairs, hats & sunscreen it’s going to be warm.
