Nadine's Irish Mist is a renovated bar with a casual atmosphere next to the beaches of Sunset Beach. Its busy Pacific Coast Highway street-facing location makes for a little traffic and noise, but inside you hardly notice it.
The bands are a mix of local cover, along with some popular Irish-themed bands. The music is booked through Niall Coyle, co-owner of the pub.
Very local, very casual, all welcomed. Many come with hopes of seeing Nadine, a pop rock star in the UK and Ireland, and very beautiful lady. Nadine Coyle (born 15 June 1985) is an Irish singer, songwriter, actress, and model who rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of the band Six before becoming a member of successful girl-group Girls Aloud. Coyle has had over 20 consecutive UK top ten singles (including four number ones), two UK number one albums, and received nominations for five BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for "The Promise". She released her debut solo album Insatiable in November 2010 through her own label, Black Pen Records in partnership with supermarket giant Tesco. The album peaked at number twenty on the Irish Album Charts and number forty-seven on the UK Album Charts in the UK. Nadine Coyle dated Irish footballer Neil McCafferty, American actor Jesse Metcalfe, and former American football player Jason Bell. She lives in Southern California and has a child with Jason Bell.
Nadine Coyle recently teamed up with Michael Flatley to perform the title song to Lord of the Dance - Dangerous Games.
Traditional Irish Food makes for a welcoming atmosphere for those seeking tasty grub the Irish are known for.
Fox News ranked this pub the best Irish Bar & Restaurant for 2010. That kind of says it all. 18 beers on tap. Nice.
Nearby bars include Turc's, Taco Surf, Mother's, J.King Neptunes, Don the Beachcomber and Pelican Isle.
