hat if needed, binoculars if you want a
close up look, cameras, bottled water
(portable restroom available in parking lot
only)
Do not bring: Pets -- they are not permitted in the wetlands; bicycles are not permitted on the trails. If you bring them be sure to bring locks. Smoking isn't allowed.
Visitors are invited to explore the gem of the Southern California Coast, the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, on the last Saturday of every month. Billed as a free bird talk and nature walk, the tour is offered through volunteers of the non-profit Amgios de Bolsa Chica.
As one of the best birding spots, Bolsa Chica is ever changing through the seasons. Bird migrations assure a different scene nearly every visit. during each season.
