How to Have a Festival in Huntington Beach

One of the most asked questions is "How do I hold my festival in Huntington Beach?"

If the answer was easy you'd probably not be asking that question. Once you have a roadmap for the way it works, however, you may find yourself less daunted by the task and be on your way to a successful event.

When event planners and individuals ask this question it is important for them to have a general idea about location for the festival or event.

City Beach Festivals

If you want a beach festival there are three separate beach contacts for hosting events. City Beach is by Huntington Beach Pier and your contact there is the City of Huntington Beach special events coordinator, currently Chris Cole (subject to change). For any large festival at the City Beach, Central Park or public streets, you will need to speak to Chris. He will field your request and help explain the application process to get it started.
