This annual family event invites all ages to experience one of Huntington Beach's best kept secrets, the Shipley Nature Center. Come and join in the fun!
Nature exhibits, crafts for children, the California Native Plant Sale. Learn about Monarch Butterflies. Guided tours through the California Native Plant Gardens and habitats. Composting Seminars Learn all about Composting and Vermicomposting and how to turn kitchen scraps and backyard cuttings into ”black gold.”
Those valuable resources available to you every day that you might be throwing away can be made into rich, organic home compost.
