Oktoberfest is a time honored tradition at Old World Restaurant in the Bavarian-themed Old World Village. Promoted and carried through the years by a German family the event features authentic bands who fly in from Germany to perform at this annual event which includes all the great German food favorites and beers, including popular beers from around the globe. The restaurant has a full bar for those who prefer other beverages.
What's so unique about this event is another tradition of Wiener Dog Races. These are fun, non-competitive events held on select days, included with Oktoberfest admission.
If Chicken Dance, great foods and floor entertainment is your thing, don't miss Oktoberfest. It only happens during one season (September to October) but does enjoy one of the longest running such events in California and perhaps the only festival with free admission on select nights.
