Santa Claus arrives on a Fire Truck in the parade, usually signaling the parade is ending as the police stop traffic and direct the parade across Pacific Coast Highway to Pier Plaza where Santa disembarks from the Fire Engine and heads for his little tiki decorated setup to meet with children and hear their Christmas wishes. Santa is normally decked out in beach attire and sits on a beach lawn chair with the Mrs.
Light a Light of Love is a Children's and Family focused parade with local youth groups and Santa Claus along with Mrs. Santa arriving on the city of HB fire engine.
The Light of Love portion includes switching the lights on the Huntington Beach Pier for the holiday season. The snowflake lights are sponsored by companies and individuals.
Kids have an opportunity to have pictures taken with Santa. Proceeds benefit the CSP Youth Shelter, a vary worthwhile cause!
