The Huntington Beach Central Library's 27th annual Authors Festival features 20 local children's authors and illustrators who sell and autograph books. The free event will be held from 2:30 to 5 p.m.

Children who entered stories and illustrations in the "Spin Us A Story" contest will be honored, and winners will be announced in the Tabby Theater
3:45 p.m. preschool through third grade
4:15 p.m. 4th-8th grades
