HB Pier EVENT ACTIVITY | Vans Pier Classic
The 6th annual Vans/Jack's Pier Classic
The Vans Pier Classic is the first West Coast stop on the ASP North American Tour. The event will consist of the 4-star rated Men's World Qualifying Series and the 4-star Men's Pro Junior events.
Vans team riders, Andrew Doheny, Ivan Florence and Jason "Ratboy" Collins are among the tough competition to be hosted and in a hard-fought battle of the waves south of the Huntington Beach Pier.
Great watching spots include Huntington Beach Pier and the south side beach at Huntington City Beach.
For those visiting, there will be some great weather for free bonfire nights at the beach, some downtown dining treats, great shopping along Main Street, and nice hotel choices such as Shorebreak Hotel, where you can bring a dog, if you like.
