K-9 Spring Fling & Easter Egg Hunt. DOGTV is hosting a K-9 Spring Fling & Easter Egg Hunt for their furry friends and adoring parents.
Guests at the free event will be able to take their dog through an
agility course, enjoy a beer garden and BBQ available for purchase,
visit with a variety of pet industry businesses, and participate in
a raffle with great prizes from pet merchants. There will be lots of adoptable dogs on site from Barks of Love Animal Rescue, I.C.A.R.E.
Dog Rescue, Dachshunds Paws and Pals, New Beginnings for Animals,
and Miniature Pinscher Rescue. Time: 12 noon- 3 p.m. Cost: Free.

Route 66 Gala - 66 continuous years of education is celebrated at Brethren Christian Junior & Senior High School with an amazing event. You’ll get your kicks with Classic cars, a Beauty Queen, the award-winning 8 O’clock Jazz Band and more at this annual fundraiser banquet. Even the menu has been designed to incorporate elements of the famed highway from Chicago to Malibu. Well-known local author, educator and dynamic lecturer, Sean McDowell, will be the featured guest speaker. The reigning Miss Seal Beach, Joy Knepper (a 2010 graduate of BCHS), is also be a part of the program. Joy’s great-grandparents were instrumental in the opening of the school in Seal Beach in 1947 and her grandmother is also a graduate.
