Earth Day Community Celebration - at Bolsa Chica State Beach Headquarters. Come one, come all to the free admission beach event that includes tours of the lifeguard headquarters, special vendors with free raffle for a bike from Pedigo, and the opportunity to do some beach clean up. Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Location: enter on Pacific Coast Highway across from Bolsa Chica Wetlands entrance (between Seapoint & Warner), Huntington Beach, CA. Parking is free for participants during event. The event is produced by State of California Department of Parks and Recreation.

Newland House Museum Tours - Huntington Beach's historic property on display features guided tours usually provided by HB's historian, Jerry Persons. Time: Noon - 4 p.m. $2 donation. Location: Newland House Museum, 19820 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, CA. Call (714) 960-0055.

Reggae Sunday - Hidden Village is home to a new series of Reggae Shows featuring Fully Fullwood, joined by talented musicians who are noted in this genre and those that are on the rise! Some of these musicians have played with Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Kenny Loggins, Tracy Chapman, Ben Harper, Dennis Brown and Joe Higgs to name just a few. Free Bolsa Chica Tours - Learn about the history of Bolsa Chica, its wildlife, and plant life with a Bolsa Chica Land Trust guide. Literature and merchandise are also available at this two-hour tour on the third Sunday of each month. The free guided walking tour of the Bolsa Chica wetlands and upper mesas includes walking--wear comfortable shoes and sun protection, and be sure to bring binoculars or a camera!
