September 18, 2010 Sumer City Surf Contest - The 40th Annual Huntington Beach City Surfing Championship include free style divisions for Super Masters, Grand Masters, Seniors, Masters, Men, Juniors, Boys, Women and Menehune. Winners will receive trophies. Driver’s license or school ID with proof of age (birth certificate) must be presented before competing. Ages are as of contest date. August 27 is the last day to sign up. Each participant will receive a T-shirt with a special surf logo. Participation limited to first 175 registrants. Fee: $30 South Side of Pier. Roller Blading Fun Roll - Head to the Huntington Beach Pier and meet up with roller bladers each Saturday morning at the Pier Plaza amphitheater for a 16 mile round trip skate from Huntington to Newport Beach. It's at a nice and easy pace and all ages and levels are welcome - bicyclists can join in on the fun too! Join the group afterward for lunch in Huntington Beach.
