Adopt-A-Beach Huntington Beach Senior Services - Saturday beach clean-up days. Gather at 7:30 a.m. in the beach parking lot at 11th Street and spend an hour picking-up trash between Lifeguard Towers 8 and 10 to keep the winter beach clean. Saturday Car Cruisers bring their cars to the parking lot of a strip mall in Huntington Beach for show-off and sharing. Known as the Donuts Derelicts Hot Rods their beauties include Woodies, Imports, Street Cars, and a variety of restored vehicles. Parking is available in the Ace parking lot or Adams Avenue Donut Shop with overflow parking extending to Drug Emporium lot across Adams. American Heart Association CPR Certification - at Murdy Community Center. Individuals will be trained to give basic life support to an adult, child, and infant. Upon completion of this four hour class, participants will receive a card stating successful completion of the course and a two year AHA CPR certificate will be sent by mail. The Heartsaver Class is equivalent to an A/B card. The registration fee is $40 with a $5 materials fee due at the class. Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. hbsands.org
Roller Blading Fun Roll - Head to the Huntington Beach Pier and meet up with roller bladers each Saturday morning at the Pier Plaza amphitheater for a 16 mile round trip skate from Huntington to Newport Beach.
