April 18, 2010 Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Mesa Tour. Free tour meets the third Sunday of every month. This is a two-hour walking tour of the Bolsa Chica Mesa and Wetlands conducted by the Bolsa Chica Land Trust. This docent-led tour makes five stops along the walkbridge and loop trails of the wetlands. Meet in the Ecological Reserve parking lot. Warm clothing, comfortable shoes and binoculars are recommended. Time: 10 a.m. to Noon. Cost: Free. Honoring the works of one of America's esteemed artists, oil paintings that have never been exhibited until now are featured in the rare collection of art by Zornes, who passed away in February after reaching 100 years of age.
