September 13, 2009 Plein Air Painting Art Painters on Main Street- Artists paint scenes around Huntington Beach. The works are then displayed and sold at auction as a fundraising event for the Huntington Beach Art Center. call: (714) 374-1650. Enjoy an afternoon of painting to celebrate the city's centennial. Open to all levels of painting, the demonstrations and workshops held in several locations throughout the city offer insight into particular artists' visions of what plein air painting means to them. Some of their tools of the trade and tips are included.
