The Doggie Bus shuttle is
offered at $2 to help cover gas,
and the driver’s time. The
Doggie Bus shuttle will be
available from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
and will allow dogs. Pick
Up/Drop Off is at the Shorebreak
Hotel Valet. Park at the
Shorebreak Hotel located at 500
Pacific Coast Highway,
or the 6th Street Parking lot,
located on PCH. Seating is
limited to 13 human/dog spaces
each trip. Event location is Dog
Beach on Pacific Coast Highway
between Seapoint and Goldenwest
Streets.
October 11, 2009 Procession of Lights - The Greater Huntington Beach Interfaith Council presents the 10th Annual “Procession of Light” beginning with a musical prelude at 3:30 p.m. at Pier Plaza. The program follows from 4 to 5:30 p.m. This event is held in cooperation with the Huntington Beach Centennial Celebration, this year’s theme is “Celebrating 100 Years of Faith.” Bringing together community members of all faiths to enjoy an entertaining and uplifting experience to foster interfaith harmony, unity and hope, this year’s theme celebrates youth. The program includes Interfaith music, the World Peace Flame Ceremony, audience-written prayers, and a bagpiper-led procession to the end of the pier and back. First 100 people to attend receive a complimentary HB Centennial Candle for the procession. Musical entertainment includes Emmy Award winning singer / songwriter Faith Rivera, an interfaith choir, music from several faith traditions and more.
