December 23, 2009 Art-A-Faire - Shop for hand-made one-of-a-kind jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. Rugs in the shape of surfboards, surf themed wall decor and planter boxes, household gifts, original art and body products are usually featured by vendors selling their creations at this weekly event held at Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier. December 23, 2009 Snowflakes light up the Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street through New Year's Day. Approximately 84 artificial snowflakes strewn with twinkling lights adorn light downtown Huntington Beach. They are a delight to see. There are 48 on the pier and 36 stretching along Main Street from Pacific Coast Highway to Orange Avenue. Traditionally placed along Main Street and the Huntington Beach Pier, they are truly beautiful displays of holiday spirit in Huntington Beach. Watch the twinkling lights reflect on the Pacific Ocean waters below.
