September 26, 2008 Farmer's Market is a weekly event with an arts and crafts fair held on Friday from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. September 26, 2008 Oktoberfest at Old World Village. German bands, dancing and tasty German foods, plus a variety of German and assorted beers on tap are sold. Mixed drinks and liqueurs in shot glasses sold by "shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts make this event mostly beach-sexy.
