October 18, 2008 Distance Derby Run - Sponsored by the City of Huntington Beach Parks and Recreation, this 54th Annual City of Huntington Beach Distance Derby is Orange County's longest-running road race event. 10-mile run, 5-mile run/walk, and surf kids fun run are for a great cause--proceeds benefit Project Self-Sufficiency, a program to assist single parents.
