April 14, 2008 Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library exhibit features 19th century urban planner Ildefons Cerdà. Designing the expansion of Barcelona, his plans included grids to accommodate pedestrians, carriages, urban railway lines (as yet unheard-of, and sewers to prevent frequent floods, while still addressing public enhancements through private gardens and other amenities. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
