A special program celebrates the 40 Anniversary of the Central Library. Speakers will share their stories of the early days of the library and the FOTL. Dignitaries will include Ron Hayden, former Library Director, Norma Gibbs, former Mayor of Huntington Beach, long-time supporter, Charlene Bauer, First President of the Friends of the Library, and others. Other past FOTL presidents will also be on hand and many of the FOTL photo albums from the past will be on display.

 October 15, 2015 Art Walk: The last regularly scheduled art walk  before November’s invitational showcase. About 35-50 artists will display work on the sidewalks and strand at Pacific Coast Highway.  Time: 6-9 p.m. Location: Main Street in the downtown area.
