HB on the Strand Race. Time: 7:30 a.m. Huntington Beach bike trail • 22080 Pacific Coast Highway Huntington Beach, CA 92646 This HB Run is a beautiful jaunt down the paved Huntington Beach bike trail that wanders along the beautiful sandy beach. All runners start on the HB bike trail at Pacific Coast Highway and Magnolia St., and run North on the HB trail toward Bolsa Chica. You never cross any roads, enter any parking lots, or have to worry about any cars! Just run straight and enjoy the view! This is an USATF sanctioned event. 5k runners turn around near Beach Blvd., 10k runners turn around just past the HB pier, 15 k runners turn around past Seaport St., and half marathon runners turn around at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Bib pick up starts at 6:30 am and the race will start at 7:30 am. Race day registration will not be allowed, 100 runners max. Paid parking is available in the parking lot on the corner of Magnolia and PCH, while free parking can be found on Magnolia just past Banning Ave. Aid stations will be located at the start, 10k, and half marathon turn around points. Public restrooms and water fountains are located every mile. *There is no time limit, so take as much or as little time as you need. All finishers will receive a metal regardless of their time!
