Heart Healthy Huntington Beach Health Fair. In honor of Heart Awareness Month, Hoag hosts Heart Healthy Huntington Beach, a community health fair at Hoag Health Center - Huntington Beach. Attendees of all ages are invited to a day of heart healthy education and activities. Highlights include a town hall discussion with renowned Hoag medical professionals; physician-led presentations on heart health topics; free health screenings (including blood pressure and oxygen saturation screenings by Hoag physicians,) and children’s activities. For kids there's an obstacle course, face painting, and an interactive nutritional presentation. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. Hoag hopes to raise awareness and inspire the community to lead heart healthy lifestyles.
