June 7, 2014 Pacific Coast Dreamin' Barefoot Ball - at Bolsa Chica State Beach, to Benefit the Bolsa Chica Conservancy. California style clambake gala honors Wyland as the Conservancy’s 2013-2014 Conservator of the Year. Attendees will enjoy music, silent auction and a chance to hear Wyland speak about ocean conservation and collaborative efforts with the Bolsa Chica Conservancy. This formal gala at the beach promises to be a night to remember, all in the spirit of supporting science learning for everyone. Tables seating 8 range from $2,500 to $25,000 and individual tickets are available at packages of $500 or a single entry at $200. Time: 5:30-10:30 p.m. Proceeds of the gala will help support STEM-based education programs and the Conservancy's efforts to build the Center for Coastal Ecology. Sunset Gondola - tour the Huntington Harbour by daylight, sunset or night. It's a wonderful tour that's relaxing, or romantic if you like. Operates daily 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Kayak Rentals - Sunset Beach offers Kayak rentals next to Captain Jack's. This extremely popular activity provides a fun way to navigate through Huntington Harbour's five manmade island channels. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Warner and Broadway. Cost varies and there are two rental companies.
