Literacy Fair and Huntington Beach Central Library

Huntington Beach Literacy Fair - Literacy Volunteers introduce a hidden gem, Literacy Services. This event showcases the literacy program, what the literacy group does, how it supports the community, and how community members can get involved.
The event is free to all at Huntington Beach Central Library. Throughout the day, there will be tours of the Literacy office and the literacy computer lab, including the materials used to facilitate learning.
The day also includes two unique cultural learning opportunities, a Chinese character class at 10 a.m. and fruit bouquet arrangement course at 1 p.m.
At $15, these courses are a fun way to take home a souvenir of your time exploring literacy or pick up a Literacy Book Bag or T-shirt. Delicious baked goods will be for sale as well!
All proceeds continue to help fund this important program.
