Wetlands viewing - Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds includes 300 acres and a 1.5 mile loop trail. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to dusk.

Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library on the first floor features works from amateur and professional artists. This mixed media exhibit is free to see. Location: 7111 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach, CA.
