December 9, 2007 Huntington Harbour Boat Parade. This is an annual event held in conjunction with Cruise of Lights. A parade begins near Warner Avenue and heads south, making its way through the channels of Huntington Harbour. The Huntington Beach islands are closed to car traffic during this event so parking is extremely limited. Time: 5 to 8 p.m. Location: Warner Avenue near Pacific Coast Highway. December 9, 2007 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. December 9, 2007 Snowflakes light up the Huntington Beach Pier and Main Streetthrough New Year's Day. Dozens of artificial snowflakes strewn with twinkling lights adorn light downtown Huntington Beach. They are a delight to see. There are on the pier and stretch along Main Street from Pacific Coast Highway to Orange Avenue. Traditionally placed along Main Street and the Huntington Beach Pier, they are truly beautiful displays of holiday spirit in Huntington Beach.
