April 20, 2007  Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. April 20, 2007 Guy Takayama World Pro-Noseriding Championship features Tandem and Amateur Noseriding, a form of surfing.  Keep your weight back and walk out to the nose of the longboard for a stylish nose ride. Bottom turn on a wave, ride up to the lip and straighten out to ride down the line with your board high on the wave. Ideally, your tail will get buried in the curl of the wave. This helps counterbalance your weight on the nose. Shuffle your feet up to the nose. Start by going just three-quarters forward, and then test your limits. Eventually, you'll be able to hang your toes over the nose. Next, lean back and stretch your legs forward, trying to keep your weight back over the board and off the nose.
