October 20, 2006 Oktoberfest at Old World Village. Get out your lederhosen and learn the Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest in Huntington Beach. The event includes entertainment with German bands, dancing and tasty German foods. A variety of German and assorted beers on tap are sold as well as mixed drinks and liqueurs in shot glasses sold by "shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts. October 20, 2006 ISA World Surfing Games 2006 will be held in Huntington Beach, California, USA, October 14 - 22, 2006. The ISA World Surfing Games 2006, hosted by Surfing America will be the 21st edition of the biennial contest that determines the world's top surfing nations and awards individual surfing titles and medals in the categories of shortboard surfing (men and women), bodyboard (men and women) and longboard. The tradition started in 1964 at Manly Beach in Sydney, Australia, where surfers from around the world representing their home nation competed for men and women's surfing titles. Way to the Forum written by Burt Shevelove & Larry Gelbart with music by
Stephen Sondheim. Made famous in a movie that included actors Zero Mostel,
Phil Silvers and Buster Keaton, it's a story about Pseudolus, who's
desperate to win his freedom. The slave attempts to help his young master,
Hero, earn the love of a courtesan, Philia. Meanwhile, Pseudolus has to
outsmart Hero's parents, the slave-master, Lycus, and the large man that has
already paid for Philia, Miles Gloriosus. Also, an old man Erronious is
desperately searching for his lost children. In the end, it turns out that
Philia and Miles are brother and sister and the children of Erronious.
Further, Philia is now allowed to marry Hero and Pseudolus gains his
