March 26, 2006 National Professional Paintball League NPPL World Tour - 2006 Super 7 Series - Huntington Beach will be the first stop of the 2006 National Professional Paintball League Super 7 Series. See fantastic play from return groups such as Dynasty, Avalanche, Empire and Naughty Dogs. Registration fills up rapidly with teams from around the globe competing for the World Title which is earned through points acquired in the tour stops: Huntington Beach , Tampa , Denver , Pittsburg IAO, San Diego and Miami. Huntington Beach is on the beach play with sand-tarped net arenas, bleachers and free admission. Audience - old clothes recommended as paint splashes outside the arena. A vendor expo with tents and booths includes, products, paint guns, paintballs, clothing, gear, paintball supplies, great souvenir clothing and autograph signing. March 26, 2006 Grand Opening of a new store - The Children's Place opens its 50th store in California with a A “Wild” Celebration. To celebrate the opening of their 70th store in California, The Children’s Place is teaming with Walt Disney Pictures for a day of animal-inspired fun. The first 100 customers to visit the newest location of The Children’s Place, located at the Loehmann’s 5 Points Plaza in Huntington Beach, will receive two free passes to a private movie screening of Disney’s newest animated adventure, The Wild. Set to open nationwide on April 14th, The Wild features the voices of Kiefer Sutherland, Greg Cipes, Jim Belushi, Jeneane Garofalo, Richard Kind, William Shatner, and Eddie Izzard. To add to the animal antics, The Children’s Place will also have a balloon artist on hand to create free animal balloons for each child as well as a face painter who will help transform each child into his or her favorite wild animal. In addition, opening day will provide a first look at all of the hottest, must-have fashions for summer from The Children’s Place, including flowy cotton skirts for big and baby girls, plaid board shorts for big and baby boys and Hawaiian-inspired beach accessories for children of all ages.
