The beach will be filled with volleyball play beginning at 7:30 a.m. The 2006 Corona Light EVP Pro Beach Tour is now inline to provide local athletes the opportunity to travel, compete against the very best in a city vs city format and win some great prizes! June 3, 2006 Gardening - Volunteers are invited to Shipley Nature Center. Everyone is invited to participate in planting, weeding, and other restoration activities the first Saturday of each month. Gates are open from 9 to noon while we give the Nature Center TLC (tender loving care). Bring a pair of gardening gloves and any gardening tools you have available such as shovel, hoe, or rake. Please label tools clearly with your name. Wear sturdy shoes (closed toe, please) and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Time: 9 a.m. to Noon.
