June 19, 2005 Play - Dandelion Wine is a moving play in which a 38-year-old man must uncork the wrenching summer of his childhood in order to free himself of loneliness that has been bottled up in his heart for the last 23 years. He succeeds by going back in time and confronting his bright-eyed teenage self, and together they relive those days that once put music in his ears and magic in his eyes. Written by Ray Bradbury, the play is directed by Robert Michael Conrad and produced & performed by Newport Beach Repertory Theater in conjunction with Huntington Beach Art Center.
