April 29, 2005    Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. April 29, 2005   Windows Gallery Huntington Beach Art League Members' Coop Show at Huntington Beach Central Library and Cultural Center features the paintings, photos and mixed media. April 29, 2005  Photography and Multimedia in Partnership with the Imagination Celebration of Orange County. This exhibition of student work features stunning visual images in a variety of media, including photography, animation, digital arts, film and computer graphics of children age K-12. April 29, 2005   Play - Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is a timeless classic about a young couple who fall in love.

April 29, 2005  Play - The Crucible by Arthur Miller (Death of a Salesman). Although the events of the play are based on the witchcraft trials that took place in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692, Miller was liberal in his fictionalization of those events. The witchcraft trials grew out of  moral system of the Puritans, which promoted interference in others' affairs as well as a repressive code of conduct that frowned on any diversion from norms of behavior. The play is presented by Huntington Beach Playhouse at Huntington Beach Library and Cultural Center Theater, 7111 Talbert Avenue, Huntington Beach, California. It runs through May 15, 2005. April 29, 2005  Poetry -  Marj Hahne & Carine Topal. Tebot Bach (in Welsh the name means ‘little teapot’) invites Southern California poets and writers to poetry readings featuring local, national and international poets. Workshops are held as well. The poetry reading and writing workshop series are designed to enhance the writing skills of those who attend.
