April 29, 2005 Farmer's Market and Art
A-Faire Held weekly on Friday from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held
most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a
certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and
vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in
conjunction with the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling

features stunning visual images in a variety of media, including

April 29, 2005 Play - Romeo and Juliet by William
Shakespeare is a timeless classic about a young couple who fall in love.
Presented by Academy for the Performing Arts, this student
production highlights the talent of up and coming Huntington Beach actors

April 29, 2005 Play - The Crucible by Arthur Miller
(Death of a Salesman). Although the events
of the play are based on the witchcraft trials that took place in Salem,
Massachusetts in 1692, Miller was liberal in his fictionalization of those
events. The
witchcraft trials grew out of moral system of the Puritans, which
promoted interference in others' affairs as well as a repressive code of
conduct that frowned on any diversion from norms of behavior. The play is presented by Huntington Beach
Playhouse at Huntington Beach Library and Cultural Center Theater, 7111
Talbert Avenue, Huntington Beach, California. It runs through May 15, 2005.

California poets and writers to poetry readings featuring local, national
