April 23, 2005   Saturday Car Cruisers known as the Donuts Derelicts share Hot Rods, Street Cars, Woodies, Imports and a variety of restored vehicles at Adams and Magnolia Ave. Parking is available in the Ace parking lot or Adams Avenue Donut Shop with overflow parking extending to Drug Emporium lot across Adams.  Time 6 a.m., over by approx. 8:30 a.m. No phone number available. Cost: Free admission.  

April 23, 2005  Earth Day Beach Clean Up - Simple Green's Egbar Foundation will roll out the huge, green inflatable character at the Huntington Beach Pier for fun and prizes in the annual beach clean up day. Location: Pacific Coast Highway at Main St. Time:  9 to 11 a.m. Each participant who cleans the beach with free gloves and bags supplied will receive a raffle ticket entered into a drawing for prizes from Simple Green. Public is invited, just show up!

April 23, 2005  Ukulele Exhibit - Ukulele Exhibit - History of the Ukulele is a fun, interactive exhibit for all ages. It features vintage ukuleles, musical instruction workshops and band performing at various times during the exhibit run. Time:  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost: $2/ adult. April 23 , 2005   Surfing - NSSA Southwest Conference Explorer Season Event #9 The Explorer Season is a ten event schedule running one weekend per month from September to June. The Southwest Conference competition program is regarded by the surfing industry, surfing publications, etc., as the highest level of surfing competition in the western United States. Competitive membership in this conference is approximately 1000 members. Because of the level of competition and the high media exposure, competitors come from the entire state of California to compete in the Southwest Conference events. April 23, 2005   Roller Blading Fun Roll - Join the group of roller bladers who meet near the Huntington Beach Pier for a fun roller blade 16-mile round trip at an easy going pace (all levels and ages, plus bicycles welcome) from Huntington Beach to Newport Beach.  Time: 10:30 a.m. Cost: Free.
